유튜브 인도계정 이제 끝인가(Changes to using your card with Google)

며칠 전에 구글로부터 메일을 받았습니다.

 

보통 메일 잘 확인 안 하는데, (특히나 영어로 온 메일은 스팸 같아서 더욱 확인 안합니다.)

 

유난히 눈에 띄는 문구가 있어서 눌러보았습니다.

 

메일 제목은

 

'Google Payments: Changes to using your card with Google'

저 메일 제목을 보자마자 뭔가 심상치 않은 기운을 느꼈습니다.

 

메일 본문을 읽어 보았습니다.

 

This is a reminder from Google to inform you that by OOOO , 2022, Google must delete your existing debit or credit card information due to new Reserve Bank of India card storage regulations.

 

If you still plan to use your Mastercard card ending in 0000 for transactions with YouTube or other Google products, how you use your card may change.

 

To continue using the same Mastercard card to make payments with Google after 0000, 2022, without having to re-enter your card details, you must save your card details by using it to make a payment manually before OOOO, 2022. If you don't do so, your card will no longer appear in your account, and you'll have to re-enter your card details to use it again.

아... 드디어 올 것이 왔습니다.

 

우리나라에서 많은 분들이 하는,

 

VPN으로 구글 인도계정으로 만들어서, 유튜브 프리미엄을 저렴하게 이용하고 있었는데..

 

더군다나 저는 한국계정으로는 안 되는 가족계정을 만들어서 제 가족 및 친구와 같이 사용하고 있었는데..

 

아마도 앞으로는 어려울 것 같습니다.

 

아르헨티나로 다시 가는 방법 등 나름 방법을 찾아보고 있는데요.

 

인도계정도 이렇게 메일이 오는데, 아르헨티나로 다시 간 들 괜찮을까요?

 

그리고 어찌 저의 모든 것을 알고 계시는 구글님을 이길 수 있겠습니까.

 

좋은 방법 있으면 좀 알려주세요.. ㅠㅠ
